Take your favourite oil, and gently warm it in a small bowl. Warm oil is said to be better absorbed in the scalp.

Then dip your fingers into the oil (be sure not to make it too hot) and gently massage the oil on the roots of your hair and the scalp in a circular motion using your fingertips.

Massage for at least 10-15 min, gently (not vigorously), the entire scalp, and temples.

Leave it on, overnight.

If leaving oil on overnight isn’t possible, you can oil your hair an hour or two before you bathe and wrap your head with a hot towel. This will extract some nutrition from the oil in a short time frame.

Always keep in mind that after applying oil in your hair, you should remain indoors, as its very easy for the oiled hair to gather dust from outside environment.

Oiling at least once-twice a week, ideally a night before you plan to wash your hair, would be best for you.

Less is more with regards to a hair oiling routine. It is not about the amount of oil you apply but how well you do it.
